GENERAL PROVISIONS
The Editors of the Journal Biologia et Biotechnologia (JBB) strives to ensure a simple and straightforward process for submitting your manuscript for publication. These instructions provide all the information for submission, including the JBB editorial policy, style, and manuscript checklist. All articles submitted to JBB should be prepared according to the instructions below.

Manuscript volume
Reviews, together with tables and a list of references should not exceed 50,000 characters with spaces (approximately 30 pages of A4 format, 1.5 spacing, 12-point Times New Roman) and should contain no now more 16 figures.
Research articles can be up to 30,000 characters with spaces (approximately 15 pages of A4 format, 1.5 spacing, 12-point Times New Roman, along with tables and a list of references) and should contain no more 10 figures.
Research Articles are full-length research reports that contain detailed descriptions of experimental work, with a clear interpretation and discussion of the theoretical and experimental results and data.
Research Articles should be structured according to the section headings Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, Nomenclature/Appendix (if applicable), and References. Authors should present their material with the utmost clarity and conciseness and in a logical manner. The constant repetition of experimental procedures, information, and facts among sections should be avoided.
Minireviews or short communications should not exceed 12,000 characters with spaces (approximately 5-6 pages of A4 format with tables and a list of references up to 12 sources) and three figures.
Author's self-citation should not exceed 25%.
